Why are Mum and Dad splitting up?

If Mum or Dad are splitting up or getting a divorce it’s usually because they don't love each other any more, or can't get on together any more, however hard they try. This is because they have changed and are different people from when they first met.

Everyone changes as they get older. Think of how different you were when you were little.

Some grown ups change and don’t want the same things.

What does not change is that your parents love and care for you, even if they decide to live apart.
