How to feel better
Here are four ways to cheer yourself up:
1. Talk it over
Talk to someone. It may seem odd, but talking about bad things makes you feel better, not worse. Sometimes it can make you feel a lot better. Talking can help bad feelings shrink.
Who would you choose to talk to?

Mum, Dad, your grandparents, your sister or brother, or maybe a close family member, a friend, teacher or other child or adult you trust. Too embarrassing? Remember good friends and grown ups will nearly always be really pleased you have chosen them and that you can be honest about how you feel. Try to be brave.
2. Dear diary
Write about how you feel in your diary. Writing can help shrink those bad feelings too.
3. Parents can help
Ask your Mum or Dad to tell you what is happening.
4. My idea
Think up your own idea for cheering yourself up and write it down, in your diary.
Remember, it’s not your fault.
